The moon entered Ophiuchus at 4am (Universal Time) today leaving the final degree of Scorpio at 13 degrees and 13 minutes. Got to love that number and today is also the start of a new 13 day period (tzolkin) in the Mayan calendar known as the trecena of freedom and fertility.
Yesterday I attended the first ever online conference for the newly-formed International Sidereal Astrology Association and it was an extraordinary experience brought alive by an eclectic mix of 8 presenters (and at least 3 feline co-stars) with some educational, even electric, presentations. It was remarked that the date was special in that the day, month and year all added to 9 which won't happen again for 9 years and this numerological interpretation also fitted nicely with the fact that Ophiuchus is NOT the 13th sign rather it is the 9th. (Today, as the image shows, is a 9 of hearts day).
So what does the moon in Ophiuchus mean? Below is the interpretation given in the True Sky software:
Ophiuchus only covers 12.3574 degrees of the sky thus Monday morning at 04:49 (UT) it will enter Sagittarius. (The emphasised numbers relate to the 'Golden Phoenix Angle' covered in a presentation given by Dr Dani).
