For those who may be unaware 'Grok' is a free AI assistant launched by Elon Musk's xAI platform two years ago. The word originates from a science fiction novel written in 1961 in which it meant many things. Today, the OED, interprets it as to understand intuitively or by empathy, to establish rapport with" and "to empathize or communicate sympathetically (with); also, to experience enjoyment" thereby implying that it's good to grok!

Some months back, when I first encountered Grok for the first time, I came up with a four letter acronym - GOWL - getting on with life. Had I both the time and inclination to find a suitable word beginning with an 'R' then I would have placed it after the 'G'. Of course GOWL can also mean go only with love.

Today is the start of the Mayan trecena of Ben (reed) known as the trecena of guidance with particular emphasis on the home and family. In destiny cards it's also a week ruled by the King of Clubs - "the number 13 is represented by 1 (The Ace) + 3 ( The Artist) = 4 (A safe Kingdom or structure). This is a number of Self-transformation (13) and we can make magic with the power that our 13th card gives us." This happens to be the 'birth card' of Gelageo in Hebden Bridge on March 23.

This week we also have the annual conjunction of the sun and Sirius activating the Sirius gateway which will be the subject of another blog either later today or tomorrow as I've been up early this morning so I can follow an overnight whim and take myself off to experience the second day of the annual Bradford Dragon Boat Festival (celebrating its 10th year) taking place at Saltaire. (Apologies in advance to those planning on visiting the studio as this means it will not be open until at least 2pm today).
