We are alive at a most incredible time and what better day than Thursday, November 27, 2008, Thanksgiving Day in the USA calendar, to celebrate a stellium* of planets in Sagittarius (the Sun, Mercury & Mars), the ingress of Pluto into Capricorn and a new moon in Sagittarius!
We are now also in the 6th day of the Mayan Calendar's 'galactic underworld' and all the planets are in direct motion until Saturn turns retrograde on December 31 - read this article by Barbara Hand Clow if you would like to know how this can be interpreted.

Many highly evolved souls such as the Masters are purposefully with you at this time, because of its great importance to your evolution. Once you decide to seek further afield with an open mind, you can be sure that the Truth will find you.
The stellium of planets in Aquarius in the early part of 2009 underlines the world's need for freedom and independence.
* A stellium is three or more planets in one sign and on November 27 there were four planets, including the moon, in the fire sign of Sagittarius - a stellium in Sagittarius or the ninth house can make a person idealistic and a seeker of knowledge and the truth. These people are lucky, optimistic, confident, buoyant, joyful, expansive, and have lots of energy. Sagittarians want the entire picture. They want an advanced degree in everything they study, along with great depth and wisdom.
